Multi ply post and beam nailing. This method typically eliminates the need to toe nail ply’s back and forth to get em flush. A couple other notes: 1) make sure to nail multi ply’s up on a level/flat surface. Otherwise you may actually build a bow into your member that I’m sure you won’t want. 2) when nailing more than 2 plies together, be sure to nail up 2, then flip them over and nail the remaining plies from the other side.
