Did you know? An Ontario Works Outreach Worker is onsite in the lobby at the Central Library 1:00–4:00 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays in July and Tuesday–Thursday in August. The Outreach Worker connects residents to a variety of social services, supports, and resources. This includes financial resources, housing, food security, counselling and children’s services referrals. They can also communicate with community agencies on behalf of clients and assist with online government application forms.

The Central Library is now open with increased capacity and limited seating and study space. Contactless Pickup will continue at the Brooklin Branch until Saturday, July 31 and at the Rossland Branch until Friday, August 6. Brooklin will reopen Tuesday, August 3.
