Alligator Escapes Enclosure Amid Sydney Storm Zookeepers at a Sydney zoo had to scramble to put an alligator back in its enclosure after heavy rain filled its lagoon to the brim and allowed it to swim out. The dangerous task was made even harder by the torrential rain that made the ground and gator very slippery. The Australian Reptile Park zookeepers were able to grab the gator using a rope before lifting him over the fence and back into the enclosure with the other 55 alligators in the lagoon.
