A few times a year I will take a special group to visit textile / cultural related places in Japan. I have met / known four of these five women for years. I rented a van and we drove from Kurashiki to Shikoku and then to Kyoto. This morning I drove us (with the two kimono sewing masters I called in from Tokyo) up to Yoshimidedera on the quieter west side of Kyoto.
