Yards don’t exercise dogs, people do 😉 Whenever we visit my mom, Ruby gets free rein of a big backyard with a tree-covered slope and a great patch of grass. She spends half the time baking in the sun and the other half looking at me wondering why I’m not doing anything 😆 If I didn’t take her for a walk at all that day, she’d maybe sprint across the yard a couple of times - especially if she sees a lizard go by - but other than that she’s immobile. And we wonder why dogs left out in their yards
