High school students at Edmondson–Westside High School in Baltimore are on a career path straight to the operating room! The school partners with UMMC on the Surgical Technician Training Program, one of only three such programs in high schools on the East Coast. In a simulation OR laboratory built by UMMC, students learn key skills and train with high-tech tools in their own classroom.
